360 Sounds Like Small PlaneFeburary 23, 2006
SILICON VALLEY- Microsoft founder Bill Gates (pictured above) today held a press conference addressing the issues with their latest generation games console.
Rumours that the Xbox 360 sounds like a small plane have been flooding the internet on chat rooms across the World since the consoles release late last year, fans of the state of the art games console have clubbed together and have subpoenaed industry giant Gates with a suit claiming that using the platform is causing damage to their hearing.
Gates responded to these comments by organising a press confrenece at Microsoft HQ, the conferenceheld this morning was held under tight security as Gates has had a number of death threats made against him in the last few weeks.
"I just want to address the concerns of our loyal customers and fans of our products" Gates stressed before the conference.
Gates, who founded Microsoft, started the conference on time and took to the dias. He explained thatthe problems found with the new console were normal and to prove that the speculation of the noisepollution was unfounded. At this point a console was started and one of Gate's security personel climbed into a tied down Cesna airplane and begain the engine.
At first it seemed like the console was drowning out the sound of the plane starting, but once the engine roared to life it was obvious to all that there was a problem with both a console and plane being run inthe same space at the same time....
The noise of the plane and the console running together within feet of each other caused a frequency resonance of what seems to be the mythical "brown note", a frequency that has long been held aloft like the Holy Grail for soundboard technicians the World over. People only noticed that this was happening once Gates wall of security started crumpling over cluthcing at their stomachs and screaming "nooooo"
The press conference was shut down very quickly and the clean up crews were on hand within minutes, it seems that Microsoft are in the shit again.
"At least someone has found the note, we tried wearing man size diapers and a stack of speakers and we failed" Adam Savage of Mythbusters fame was quoted once news broke around the World
"I wasn't aware of the frequency problems" Gates was later quoted from behind a wall of security guards."we will be adding a health warning to the box in the near future stating that playing Xbox 360 and flying a plane is dangerous for your health and shouldn't be attempted"
